What type of wood do you use?

My standard wood selection is solid Poplar. I love the smooth yet interesting grain it provides as well as its light tone. I am willing to work with other wood species if you have something specific in mind.

Why do you have a minimum size?

I have a 30” length minimum on my work because I have found that my torch technique is most effective above this size. I have always placed an emphasis on representing my subjects to scale.

What kind of finish do you use?

I use a high quality, UV stabilized, clear epoxy that will not yellow or crack over time on the front side. The back side receives several coats of Tung Oil or Polyurethane.

Will my work come with hanging hardware?

Yes. All of my pieces come equipped with a heavy duty wire hanger similar to the style you would see on framed artwork.

Will my work include a signature?

All of my pieces are signed on the back side.

How do I place an order?

I encourage people to use the submission form on my contact page to inquire about commission work.

When will my credit card be billed?

I typically send an invoice/receipt via email as soon as the order is placed. I just ask that it is paid before the work is shipped.

How much will shipping cost?

I have a flat $15 shipping and handling charge for custom orders.

What shipping Carriers do you use?

I like to use USPS for smaller work and FedEx for larger shipments. I am always willing to work with other carriers if requested by the customer.

How do I track my order?

When your order is shipped, you will receive tracking info from the shipping carrier via email. There will be a clickable link to track your order all the way to it’s destination.

How long will it take to get my order?

My production time typically varies from 4-8 weeks. I can usually provide an accurate time frame via email.
